The active ingredient in MegaDry antiperspirant is aluminum chlorohydrate, an ingredient approved by the FDA for safe and effective use in the treatment of perspiration and excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis. Other antiperspirants are composed of aluminum chloride, a derivative of hydrochloric acid, which can irritate the skin, cause discomfort and stain clothing.
